LIBRARY




Online Public Access Catalogue

Our Technical Library has about 30,000 books on various subjects. A wide collection of Railway Signalling and Telecommunication books are also available. Library subscribes to 36 journals and periodicals of India and abroad.

For the benefit of trainees we keep our Library open from 09.00 hrs to 18.00 hrs on all working days. On Saturdays, Sundays and General Holidays Library is closed.


The Library is Equipped with Modern infrastructure, with a reading capacity for 56 users.

Library is automated by providing the state-of-art Library Management System Software (Libsoft). Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is available to search any type of documents in Library. Three PC’s are available in Library for the use of trainees for browsing internet and also for viewing audio visual CD’s.

IRISET, also propagates the use of Hindi Rajbhasha.  The library also has a large number of books on Hindi literature and provides an opportunity for the trainees to get acquainted with it. There are many books in Hindi on general subjects as well as fiction for the use of trainees.
